The AXA Twin Power is a completely new concept in the provision of „Ground Power Units“. By combining a conventional gen-set and a solid-state converter, we have created a product which provides all the advantages of the two technologies.

Variable speed 400 Hz ± 0.4 Hz

The control unit of the AXA Twin Power automatically optimizes the speed of the engine to suit the requirements of the aircraft. When the output requirement falls, the revolutions per minute (RPM) automatically drop, which results in reduced fuel

consumption and a lower acoustic noise level.
